The paper presents a new methodology for application development on the Android platform in MIT App Inventor bookmarks. The research method consists in an algorithm and application design. Also it was presented an example of an elaborate program SpeedCalc for the lathe spindle speed selection for the determined value of cutting speed in relation to the diameter of the work piece. The program can be used with a mobile phone or tablet.},
